We had a great month in July, improvements on the Cabana, new patios, hosted weekly & our monthly Cruise In’s. We had great entertainment all month at the Cabana. Thank you to all of our volunteers and bartenders for their hard work to make this another successful month.
August we will be hosting Whitewater Rhinefest, 8/10 & 8/11, volunteers needed, sign up at the canteen.
We need to get out there and sell our gun raffle tickets for 10/20, see me for more info. October is not that far away!

We are in the process of making the small hall a military display. We have the honor of Joey Fischer, Boy Scout, preparing his Eagle Scout project with VFW military memorabilia. This should be completed by the end of August.

Wow what a month July was! We had great events with our Cruse In’s, music & Monthly Cruse In, over 50 vehicles. A lot of great bands & events coming up this month, Harry Strawberry, Fast Freddie, Whitewater Rhinefest with German food & beer, Flip side Band, Debi & Revelations, Simmer Down Band, Back Roads Band & Pappy & Ted B.
We have T-shirts on sale – $15. See the bartender.

We are raffling a Kimber gun, only 125 tickets sold @ $20/ticket, see Doug for tickets. Our next meeting is Thurs, 8/2 at 7:00pm. Stop down at our Cabana and check out the new patios donated by the Men/Ladies, nice addition to our Cabana.
We need your help for many events at our Post, come to the meeting and bring your ideas to help the Post.

LOVE OUR VETERANS –SOCIETY
8/11/18: LOV-s All You Can Eat Breakfast $8, volunteers welcome to help. Our next meeting is 8/23, 7pm. 8/18: Monthly Cruise In, we will be preparing food from 3PM – 8PM, we need volunteers for this, please contact me.
We will be hosting a craft show 9/8 11AM -5PM, $10/ 10×10 spot, contact me @ 513-407-7090. Tell your friends/neighbors who would be interested in a booth or just to stop & shop. LOV-s will be having a bake sale during the event, we will need donations of home made bake goods.

POST HELPING VETERANS & AREA NEEDY
In July, he Post has helped 47 Veterans and families with VA assistance, driving to Veterans facilities and assisting with paper work and finances. People helped thru Charitable Events using the Canteen, Event Center. Scholarship was given to Shane Sturgill. Every Thursday at noon AA meets here. We have given out over $2,996 in July for our veteran members, local area needy, etc. This is what we are here for – to help! Post needs your help to step up and get active a few hrs. Each month!
WHEN YOU SIGNED UP TO BE A MEMBER, YOU AGREED TO VOLUNTEER 2-3 TIMES A YEAR. WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP FOR WHITEWATER RHINEFEST ON AUGUST 10-11.
