Harrison VFW Newsletter May 2016

COMMANDER’S MESSAGE

Elections of officers for the upcoming year will be at the May 11th meeting.  It is important that we have young members learn positions and take over this Post.  June 9th is the Post’s 70th Anniversary.  We will be celebrating on Saturday, June 11th.

This year’s MISS BUDDY POPPY is Mialynn Rose Brown, she is the daughter of Regina Graichen, a Navy veteran and member of our Post. Walk in the parade with the Post, meet at the Post at 9am or at Harrison Elementary at 9:30am, Parade starts at 10am

The Event Center improvements are being done, looking so much better. Thanks again to the volunteers who have been helping.

Pray to God for the safety of our troops and our country.

God Bless our Country, it’s Veterans and all in our Post 7570 Family

Robert L. Ostertag, Commander

If not, the Post will not be here in two years. We need 4 or 5 members to do different jobs. If everyone helps it’s not too much for anyone to do!
